When I first bought them in 2018, the pair they sent me had a glove with the strap half removed. I've had bad times in my work life and all I wanted was to cool my double sided bag. But instead they sent me a faulty pair. I submitted a inflammatory review and it was removed. Tried again, removed. I blamed the company for deleting my reviews without trying to give them a chance to fix it and without trying to contact them first. After I emailed them they repeatedly told me they couldn't delete reviews but I didn't want to then I should have been a bigger person but I couldn't see past my frustration. another pair was sent to me from back-and-forth correspondence, and this pair lives to this day. Now I have to add a caveat that I didn't use them as much as you probably will as I was on loan for a while after moving in so I couldn't pierce anything. Now that I have my own spot I use the right glove as only the packaging didn't cut it to protect my knuckles as I still felt every hit on my detached bag. I don't expect a gel pad to see continuous use for five years, if it did it would be some sort of mutated gel, but I do expect it to give you solid wrist support with joint protection. As long as you know the gel pad makes the fit in your glove much tighter than bandages. If you feel like you have space in your glove and need extra wrist protection, I heartily recommend them. And to the bad support staff I corresponded with in 2018, I apologize for being an idiot at the time.
