What is a defective door closer?
Spring loaded magnetic latch mechanism does not fully latch door. I have owned this table for less than six months. I assume the clasp will last for years. I only opened the door occasionally because I use it to store small items. I noticed a problem two or three months ago. Today I decided to do more to solve the problem. Now that I've removed the locking device, I see that it wasn't well designed for this purpose to begin with. I intend to contact the manufacturer for a replacement part. Stay with us! ;-)
