I had a Chicago Cubs mini tree and wanted the remote to turn the lights on and off. That's it. The wire is invisible, the light can be brighter or dimmed, plus 9 different light modes, I bought 2 sets and used the second set to decorate the wreath on the front door. These were inexpensive, but by no means cheap products.
