Pros: Well packaged. The cable works great as described. Less expensive than other equivalent HDMI optical cables. and delivered the same day The shielding of the ConsCable is made of a type of rubber material that can be scratched and damaged by careless handling. Doesn't stand up to rough treatment. ___________________________ Very impressed with this cable. I ordered this cable to replace an existing 35ft copper HDMI cable that was starting to fail. The old copper cable worked fine when originally installed, but over the past few weeks the signal has started to drop and lose picture every few minutes. This 49 foot optical HDMI from cable manufacture works great. Also noticed that it works great with an old projector that never worked with the previous 35ft copper cable. So, this cable definitely does an excellent job of transferring HDMI signals with minimal loss or degradation in quality. I can't say anything about 4K/HDR at the moment because my setup is outdated - HDMI 1080P. And the 120 inch picture is clear and sharp with this cable. So I am confident that this cable will perform as described and perform as advertised. In fact, the picture looks so good at 120” that I see no need to upgrade to 4K/HDR unless the existing video stream breaks and needs replacing. :-) The connectors are solid, but the rubber coating on the cable itself needs protection. Upon unpacking, I noticed that the zip ties cut and slightly scratched the rubber shield. Therefore, care should be taken when installing behind walls and furniture as pulling or stretching over a rough surface may tear or cut the rubber sheath protecting the cable. I would not drag this cable across uneven surfaces unless there is enough clearance or space for the cable to easily move through crevices and walls.
