I have bought and used other brands of compression gloves but they wear out quickly. I decided to give them a try, they seem to hold up to what I've put them through and figured for double the price of what I normally use they should hold up better. However, I can't get over a couple of issues these gloves must have to give them a good long-term test. I have bouts of Raynaud's disease and sometimes I have to work in low temperatures for a while. I needed something that would keep my hands warm yet be breathable enough to wear for long periods of time. I also needed something with a handle to help when moving things in the cold or trying to hold on to a cold glass or bottle. I wear gloves both at home and at work, so my compression gloves wear out pretty quickly. Pros: They're warm and the material feels durable on the first try. The fit is true to size. Cons: Velcro is terrible. The webbing on the side of the gloves is the "hook" side and is much longer than a belt that would ever need to be attached. In addition, the seams are very far inside at the edge. That means they cling to everything! They are poorly ventilated and do not absorb moisture, which makes detachment much more difficult. You have to turn them completely inside out to take them off. As soon as I did that, I realized how much my hands were sweating in them. I needed a compression glove with a grip and in the photos they have a grip. The "nubs" are not a soft material, but rather a hard plastic that actually reduces traction on smooth surfaces. But it's easier for fingers to cling to each other because the "grip" texture covers the entire glove, not just the parts you would use to grip objects. Typing or anything that requires dexterity is therefore out of the question for them. I can probably use them as winter driving gloves but that wasn't what I wanted to buy.
