Review on GlobalSat BR 355S4 GPS Receiver Black by Joel Young

I bought this to connect directly to my Kenwood TM-700A VHF/UHF Cellular Radio. The radio has built-in APRS and requires GPS to function properly in mobile mode. I tried several other GPS receivers and none worked. The TM-700A requires a serial GPS device and this GPS works! I made a junction box that converts 6 pin DIN to RS-232 DB9 and allows me to connect 5V DC using a 5V DC converter. After plugging in and setting the radio to 4800 baud the GPS came up and quickly blocked.
