I have a problem with a company I work for as a subcontractor. They wanted all of their contractors to upgrade to win10 and use the latest Office. The problem was that I have other "nice and understanding" clients that I need to keep on my win7 desktop because of some programs I need that won't port to win10 (thanks Bill). Some could upgrade for a lot of money, most couldn't even buy an upgrade due to certain software. I ended up having to let my Win7 work for other clients when I switched to Win10 (the future?) with two desktops and limited space. Well this switch did a great job. These are VGA connectors, just like my old Win7 monitor. The new computer with Win10 now also has a wireless keyboard and mouse. Very easy setup: just connect the VGA cable from the monitor to the ports on the router, plug the wireless mouse/keyboard reader into the designated port, and then connect the speakers. Then use the output ports and connect to the computer for each. Everything worked great. The default is PC1, so connect it to the one you use more often, but you can turn both on and switch between them on screen. I had a printer connected to a Win7 computer and was moving it back and forth through the computer tower's USB ports as HP told me not to connect to the switch. The seller sent me more info to make sure everything works fine for me and I mentioned it and they said just plug the printer cable into the USB port and guess which printer works on both computers now when I get the Turn on switches to use them. . This is great when you need two systems. A friend of mine had the same problem with old incompatible programs and plotters/printers for Win10 and told him about it and now he's set to not bother with all the plugging and unplugging. The salesman was great - Revain never let a salesman ask if the system was ok and when I asked a question about the printer he answered me. Can't say enough about the product and the seller!
