We combined some furniture and placed two laptops at a table and wondered if we could use a large screen monitor, keyboard and mouse with both laptops . A KVM switch solved the problem. The first problem I had was that the cables were too short to use with a sit/stand desk when you flip the switch on the desk and who have computers on the floor. I was able to get a longer cable from Jide, but it would be better if they actually sold longer cables (really only needed an extra 6ft). I've finally set up my system. I have connected 3 machines. 2 were Win 7 and one was Win 10. The device switches quickly and reliably. Nice that my speakers also switch. I saved a lot of setup time on a Win 10 computer by using a flash drive in the hub port. Just copy the necessary files from one of the Win 7 computers, then switch to the Win 10 device and copy the files to it. Many Thanks.

I love this little KVM. I can't afford a DVI switch right now so I got this little one and it works great. It's USB powered, so it turns off when the computers are off and goes into select mode when one or all are on, so by default it doesn't work.
