Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ Aviation Kneeboard I-Pilot for iPad Gen 2-4, iPad Air 1-2, iPad Air Pro 9.7", and 9-10.5" Tablets - Flight Kneeboard by DESiGN 4 PILOTS by Trey Michaels

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great knee pad for 172. Possible flap grip clearance issue on Cherokee.

I have an old 9.7 inch iPad from circa 2011 and it didn't fit other knee pads. I fly in the left seat in a C172 with this on my right leg and a traditional VFR knee pad on the right. a bit stiff when new but after breaking it I have no problem with it. I keep my clipboard on the front with an iPad ready for FlightPlanGo/Foreflight. If you fly a Cherokee I would be concerned about interference. between the open lid and the flap handle. In the configuration I have, I may have to close the lid when I stand up for landing and then open it again so I can see the airport map afterwards. A very small problem that I know of, but I wanted to make you Cherokee boys aware.
