I wasn't impressed when I took it out of the box as it wasn't very soft to the touch. I rode a road bike and even after an hour of riding the hard seat was killing me. I got this in hopes that it would soften the ride a bit. The price was great and while the seat doesn't feel that soft it really helped. I rode 1-2 hours with less saddle fatigue. Plus it was so easy to put on and didn't slip at all, even going uphill. It worked so well that 3 people in my cycling group ordered one for their road bikes!
