We recently placed our TV over the fireplace and couldn't get the cable there, so we used IOGEAR to bring the signal in from the corner behind the TV. The units are smaller than I thought, but still big enough to make it difficult to place them on a wall behind a TV. I was able to use a 90 degree HDMI extender to get it working. No setup issues, it worked right away. Works as advertised - sometimes you can tell that switching the entire screen at once leaves a few bits behind and has barely noticeable pixelation. This is not noticeable in practical everyday use. We were able to reduce it even further by making sure the devices were outdoors and pointed at each other. I originally purchased both this product and a SIIG CE-H23Q11-S1 98ft 30m 4K@30Hz HDCP 1.4 CEC 60GHz Wireless HDMI Extender Kit. Compare frequency transmitters and receivers only to find they are EXACTLY the same electronics - just in a different package for the same price. IOGEAR won because it came with HDMI cables and the form factor fitted slightly better behind the TV. SIIG is smaller, but I couldn't position it at the right angle behind the TV as it was smaller, and so a poor angle meant a weaker connection and choppy pixelation. SIIG also didn't work out of the box and needed to be paired. Overall this works well for short range wireless HDMI 4K and I would recommend it for this application.
