Good product but only works in sight

This product has great video quality. Unfortunately, this product only works in sight. Standing between two blocks will interfere with the signal. The best use for this would be a conference room or other place where devices don't need to be hidden. I give this back because I need to be able to overcome obstacles. Update: I left this product after trying two other brands (JTech and Micca) that used a 5GHz wireless signal. Although these models could covertly transmit video, the audio was…

The stable/usable range is only 10ft, not 60ft!

Bought two sets for the office and children's playroom. Connecting a laptop to a 4K TV hanging on the wall. The stable range is actually only 3 meters (10 feet), not 60 feet as advertised. In both rooms I have no objects between transmitter and receiver (totally open space). As soon as you move it more than 4 meters, it will be disconnected and the TV will not be able to see it. Or the picture on the TV freezes without moving. The only other reason for such a short range is electromagnetic…

Not 100% plug and play. Great when installed correctly.

They're great for watching TV and movies when you have no other options. I used them to stream HD to my TV above my fireplace. That's the central fireplace, and there was no other way to get a signal. I researched all of this and even bought a 50ft HDMI fiber optic cable. But the difficulties in laying the cable amazed even professionals. You MUST be in line of sight to avoid jitter and signal loss. Not for FPS games. There is some lag and I've tried. However, I pass the signal through the…

Works as advertised, very noisy.

I'm a fan of IOGEAR, I've used everything they've done over the years, they generally produce good quality products that work as advertised and this device is no exception . Device: 1. The picture is clear and crisp2. I have no noticeable lags at all (I made sure they were in sight)3. The expected 4k quality is rendered in high definition. I use this for PS5 gaming and it works great. Setup was quick and easy. I hooked things up and it worked. I foolishly/accidentally hit the sync button while…

Easy setup, works great

We recently placed our TV over the fireplace and couldn't get the cable there, so we used IOGEAR to bring the signal in from the corner behind the TV. The units are smaller than I thought, but still big enough to make it difficult to place them on a wall behind a TV. I was able to use a 90 degree HDMI extender to get it working. No setup issues, it worked right away. Works as advertised - sometimes you can tell that switching the entire screen at once leaves a few bits behind and has barely…
