Review on 🏊 TYR Performance Gear by Neil Bodell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's best if you increase the size!

I don't usually write product reviews but after trying on my new TYR swimsuit I knew I had to talk about this great product! I am a first time buyer of TYR and will purchase their products thereafter. The most important thing when buying this swimsuit: BIGGER! A bathing suit is not a shirt or dress. It should fit very closely to the body. So unless you're slim and athletic like a model, I recommend reading these tips before buying clothes in your normal sizes. Go to the TYR size chart. The size chart provided by Revain is a general size chart, not a specific swimsuit/TYR size chart. The TYR table can be found here: http://www.tyr.com/shop/sizing/2. Use the largest measurement to determine your size. Not everyone has the exact chest/waist/hips combination for a specific size, if this happens, stick to your largest measurement. For example, if your chest size is 34 and your hip size is 36, choose 36. After this step, you should have a provisional size of, say, 36.3. Size up one size based on the preliminary size you got in step 2. In this case you should go from 36 to 38. 38 is guaranteed to fit you well, if a bit loose. Good thing about the swimsuit: The quality is robust and seems to withstand chlorine for a long time. Flattering neckline. The top of the suit is quite high. It also has a mid-high neckline at the bottom. Overall it's perfect for my short and slightly fat frame (I'm 5ft 3in and 125lbs).
