I don't know why aftermarket manufacturers decide to change the design of parts. They cost me HOURS of rework and even forced me to spend an additional $20 on a new can of e-juice. The end that attaches to the pump fitted perfectly and didn't miss a drop. However, the other end is round as opposed to the OEM line which is flattened at the top/bottom. While it technically fits, it's actually 15 years of crap baked and hardened where it's attached and almost impossible to pull off. It took me 4 attempts (draining the fluid to the driveway, the other 3) and a new set of sealing washers to finally seal everything. The quality seems good and it's finally built in, but if I knew it would be. a lot of effort, I would just spend the extra for a real part.
