Why would a manufacturer, especially a luxury brand, use two-piece nuts, I don't understand. The outer cover of the original lug nuts on my 2005 Lexus RX 330 was so swollen that it was difficult or impossible to fit the original 21mm spanner onto it. You can carry around a square wrench or a 22mm head breaker, but it looks like Lexus should only use solid nuts. These lug nuts were the correct threads and size. I can't say anything about the durability, but I just needed nuts that can be removed in an emergency. Finally I would like to support those who are saying that they should not be sent in a package in a box as they had some dents which I can assume were caused by the collision during transport.
