Dude I was so disappointed when this didn't work on my computer :( . I want to stress that this is not a problem with the product but rather a Lenovo design element that makes it incompatible with this product and probably every other similar product what happens is that there seems to be a magnetic sensor right next to the usb-c port on the laptop that puts the laptop to sleep, probably as a detection method to see that the screen was closed So I don't even have to plug it in to activate it, just swing it around and the screen will turn off.I was so excited to get this as it was exactly what I was looking for but it looks like it I'm not going that this machine might have a Mag-Safe port :(
