The new MBP requires force to insert, don't be afraid to damage the connector, just push.

that wasn't worth buying but it's great! One of the issues I have with my new MBP is that Apple removed the standard USB ports and Safe Charge feature for some stupid reason. Well, this product at least gives me the Safe Charger job back. It's not perfect, but it's Apple's fault, but this adapter is the best of a bad situation. Newer Apple products require more force to insert, don't be afraid to damage the connector, it won't happen. Great product worth buying. I will probably buy it again as…

WILL NOT WORK ON LENOVO YOGA C940!

Dude I was so disappointed when this didn't work on my computer :( . I want to stress that this is not a problem with the product but rather a Lenovo design element that makes it incompatible with this product and probably every other similar product what happens is that there seems to be a magnetic sensor right next to the usb-c port on the laptop that puts the laptop to sleep, probably as a detection method to see that the screen was closed So I don't even have to plug it in to activate it…

Good Idea, Bad Execution

I recently bought an extra long, durable USB-C charging cable for my laptop. After seeing how inflexible it was, I decided to try this connector to avoid damaging the connector. When it arrived I was a bit disappointed with its appearance - not quite as shown in the photos but I plugged it in anyway and it works. As if. Great product - USB to USB adapter

I was very impressed when I got the 24 pin version so I also ordered the 9 pin version . The 24-pin connector is great for connecting a monitor to my laptop. I use a 34" display at home and a 17" portable monitor when I travel. The connection is solid and ignores the occasional slight stutter. Even though the portable monitor has an AC adapter, I can easily power it with a USB cable on a 1920 x 1080 display at full brightness. Do not receive any negative feedback. The thing works great.

I thought the thing was perfect. Connecting my Mac to an ultrawide monitor is now as convenient as a magnetic click. A few things to note. You'll need something to hold the cable in place if you're using an official Apple external monitor adapter. Otherwise the cable will move too much / the Apple adapter cable is not long enough to unscrew the magnetic adapter.
