Review on Microblend Exterior Paint Primer 74214 - Optimal 2-in-1 Formula M0588B6 by Aaron Parish

I bought 4 shades of this color and they were all very good. I have an Adam's apple in outer satin that is a lovely fresh spring green color. It really brightened up my screened porch. I applied 2 coats as one didn't fully cover. Can be applied well, does not drip, brush and roller are also easy to clean. I got a flat black exterior finish for my front door and it was brilliantly finished with two coats brushed over a white primer. The finish was really nice and smooth and I liked the totally flat look, it didn't feel powdery like matte paint, it was more like milky paint, really modern. Unfortunately it turned out my cat likes to dump her dirty paws all over the front door and leave stains, wipe them off, they leave marks on the surface so I treated them with a thin coat of clear wax and that solved the problem. I also have a deep pink interior satin that I haven't opened up yet, but it looks amazing and very much matches the color listed online, and a flat interior color called Kentucky Bluegrass that would be perfect for lower kitchen cabinets. It's a rich dark green with hints of blue, very Victorian yet modern at the same time. I did a test door and it worked great after a light sanding with the brush, even without primer. I think people complaining about the finishing may be using the wrong brush or roller for the job as I didn't get any visible brush strokes when using a quality brush and letting it dry well between coats. I am impressed with the coverage of this color for the price and even more impressed that I can have it shipped to my home in such a wide range of colours. Coming from the UK where pre-mixed paint is the norm so the idea of going into an art supply store and hanging around while they mix the paint rather than picking it off the shelf is very odd to me. I prefer to buy like this. All the paint was packed very well, it was double boxed with foam sheet between the boxes. The real paint comes in plastic jars with easy-open lids that reseal just as easily as they open, a simple thing I really appreciate after having the trouble of not being able to put other brands' metal lids back in . Now this is becoming my favorite color, I highly recommend it.
