Doug Thorley Exhaust for Kia Soul

I installed it on a 2012 Kia Soul 2.0. I already installed an SSD cai when installing the rear axle silencer. The build quality was what you would expect from a silencer. Both the hangers and flange fit perfectly and are in the factory position. it makes the Kia Soul sound good. reminds me of the finely tuned sound of a European sports car. Deep but not too loud, not overly obnoxious, right where it should be. but yes it is noticeable. more noticeable when accelerating, but when maintaining speed, the noise almost disappears in the cabin. Installation took about 30-45 minutes with just a few tools, screws, without cutting anything. only 2 screws and then remove the existing hangers. and installing the muffler from the rubber bracket and the new muffler, I used dish soap to get the original metal brackets off the rubber piece and also onto the new one to fit the rubber piece. Use the factory seal on the flange. The car is quicker on start and also the engine seems to run easy 75-80 you know at these speeds the soul usually sounds tired but now it runs easy at high speeds. On average normal driving it took me 1 1/2 to 2 miles per gallon, but if you drive aggressively to hear the muffler squeak you will most likely lose about 2 mpg. need better mpg and better bhp
