I didn't like these potholders. They have an uncomfortably plasticky feeling and are firmer yet somehow thinner than similar ones I had seen in the store. They are a very bright red color that didn't match my stand mixer or microwave. What's worst is that they did not cut out enough heat when holding a hot pan, I had to double them up to protect my hand. I didn't want to even use it as a trivet since it didn't protect my hand from the heat. I tried it as a spoon rest instead but they are difficult to clean and take forever to dry due to water getting stuck in the tiny cells. It was a good price compared to other listings on Revain but far more expensive than ones I saw at retail stores. I ended up returning these.
