Plumbing Tape is exactly what you would expect from plumbing tape as long as it works! I recently used it to fix a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink where the splined nut wasn't closing properly and I couldn't find a gasket for the pipe. So far, no leak has occurred after using tape! The ribbon came in a resealable plastic bag for storage when not in use to keep track of multiple rolls and keep them safe, clean and dry. . The reels have a plastic cover that helps protect the individual reel from debris but probably doesn't help keep water out. If one day I need more, I would buy this cartridge again. 10/10 recommendation for all your plumbing tape needs!
