I needed a larger collar to fit my scooter's larger handlebars. I've ordered and tried several, but to no avail. None of these will work on a larger diameter scooter handlebar. I thought it was the same when I opened the package. The type of delivery doesn't fit either. But if you look closely at the hinge point you can see a small silver rod or a tiny detachable rod. If you pull it out (very hard, pliers may be needed) there is a second hole to put it back in. This is provided by the manufacturer. This makes the clamp also suitable for rods with significantly larger diameters! In other words it adapts very well to both small and extra large handlebars, I almost missed this feature and sent it back! I'm glad I took a closer look and hope this helps others. Very happy with the fit for my scooter!
