Do not buy this cable! The inner cable itself has a lot of slack after installation and doesn't have enough tension or gap to pull the release lever far enough to open the hood. Pretty sad to hear about it after six hours of work by a professional mechanic on your '92 Accord. This is not an easy setup! This part is not a cable fault. The front bumper (both inside and outside) and headlights had to be removed, the inner lining as well as the inner fender lining. Then the hood latch. The original factory cable also had to remove six clips and none of them were easily accessible. After all this, do you find that the cable is poorly made and not working?
