— I use a printer running OS 10.9 Mavericks and I print from an iPad (iOS 8.3). The router is an inexpensive TP-Link (WR841N). There are no problems, nothing falls off. The printer goes into deep sleep after half a minute and CAM wakes up at any time when I send a document to print from a computer or iPad, AirPrint works without problems (I don’t go anywhere and don’t restart anything). Whoever has the printer falls off and is not configured via Wi-Fi - this is your problem in the operating system / router / crooked hands (?), But obviously not in the printer. (If AirPrint loses your printer, so that you have to go and restart - try to find the setting in the menu ["auto-off"], the default is 1 hour, and set it to "off". The easiest way to do this is through the web interface) . - I recommend immediately switching the menu to 2022 and reading at least the basic print settings. I didn’t experience any inconvenience with a single-line display - there are not so many items and everything is intuitive. I set the toner saving mode and a resolution of 300 pixels - it is perfectly readable, but it gives a significant savings in toner (however, readability in this mode still depends on the selected font and size). For a lower resolution, I recommend increasing the print density (4-5 units). PS. The default was firmware 12022 - everything worked fine, printed over the air at any time. The devil jerked to ate to 12022 (I promised not to ate if everything suits me, and now .) - now when you go into deep sleep, the printer is no longer detected from devices (both from the iPad and from the poppy), only restarting the printer helps. PS2. Resetting to factory settings, removing the printer from the system and clearing the caches on the Mac, and then setting up the connection from scratch solved the problem when printing through the computer - now sends printing over the air even if the printer is in deep sleep. For iOS applications, we managed to make sure that AirPrint was picked up, in the same way - by deleting and reinstalling (!) iPrint & Scan for iOS, registering the network address of the printer there at the first start.
