Review on 🚗 OE Rear Wiper Arm and Blade for 2008-2012 Ford Escape (Replaces 8L8Z17526-C) by Mikey Jackson

Bought this lever and blade combo after having problems with my existing blade not wiping 100%. After replacing the blade myself several times to no avail, I checked my wiper arm and found that it was cracked. Found this online with good reviews and a good price and got it in a few days. Replaced it yesterday when it arrived and everything went smooth, safe and fixed my old (new) blade. Now I have a spare blade for 6+ months and a new strong arm that feels like better material than my original. Would recommend to anyone having the same problem. I thought it was my spring but I saw it wasn't a spring but a lever mount under the cover. For the record, I have a 2012 Escape that fits like a glove again. A tip when replacing yours (you can find a youtube video but I found this tip helpful): After removing the mounting nut, take a socket wrench and GENTLY tap the top and bottom of the existing wiper arm to snap it shut loosen --- not TOO hard or you might break the threads or whatever - but just enough to loosen the dirt holding it. Then continue.
