Review on 🔧 Genuine Honda 17130-PK1-003 PCV Valve Assembly: Optimal Performance and Reliability by Marc Gallner

I really hated paying the price for this part, but when you can't get a good aftermarket part and oil is close to $7 a quart in some places, it's worth it . even in no time. The PCV valve is the most overlooked part, but if yours is bad you might think your engine is out of order. This results in the engine consuming oil, getting poor fuel economy and poor idling. I removed my old one which was recently replaced with a spare (my fault) and oil was dripping from the top vacuum side of the valve which would explain why those 3 things I mentioned were wrong with my engine. Some people think just because the PCV valve is rattling means it's good, I "assure you" it isn't. If the valve isn't properly seated internally, it can rattle all day and still not be good. If you're having a bad idle, need to add some oil and are experiencing a slight drop in fuel economy, consider replacing the PCV valve. I'm sure these PCV valves are good, Honda OEM parts are well made. So far I give 4 stars, I will correct later depending on the quality and durability. the time will show.
