This would be a five star product if based on style and comfort alone. Unfortunately, they are classified as motorcycle boots. The tag says they have sculpted toes, ankles and heels. I can safely say that this product does not exist. You can wrap your thumb around the toe and heel and feel like there's nothing to protect in those areas. The ankle lining is very soft. My Redwing leather boots are tougher in all of these areas. Also, the stripe across the upper should start on the inside of the boot, as the bike's shifter will touch the inside edge and top of your boot, but never the outside edge. One thing these boots love is that they are very comfortable. My feet usually hurt at work because I've been walking on concrete all day. These boots completely solved that problem for me. The sole is flat and wide, very tough. The fit and feel are similar to skateboard shoes like Vans or Etnies. The upper is made of leather and is perforated for good airflow that you can really feel. These are great boots for summer riding. Despite the lack of protection, I still really like these boots and wear them every day. The size fit me. I would definitely buy Speed and Strength again in the future.
