Theory: Professional window cleaners don't use handles on their mops; Let's get rid of it on our product. Reality: The body of this mop, and I won't call it "handle" or "handle," is round. Cleret designers were inspired by the flat wiper and handle. The difference here is significant: without a flat, or at least elementally ergonomic, body, this wiper is difficult to hold. Without a handle, the angle of the paddles is difficult to control and adjust as you move down from the top of the shower. If the traditional scraper held up the same as the cleret, the results would probably be great. Unfortunately, the round body of this product requires a lot more grip than it should. Theory: Two mops are better than one! Reality: I have to maintain a certain angle all the way through my shower door. For a single-blade mop this isn't that important, but if you want both blades to actually touch the cleret glass, you need that magic corner. This might have been a slight inconvenience if it weren't for the slim, rounded body. Double blades perform excellently when used correctly and sometimes incorrectly. I just don't like feeling paranoid about using such a simple tool. Theory: It could sit on your shelf like a shampoo bottle! It should be a lot easier than making a universally effective suction cup. Reality: If your shower shelf has large grooves to allow water to drain, you may need to know exactly where to place it. It takes up much less space than a regular shampoo bottle. This may be a problem specific to my bathroom, but it would be remiss to pretend I didn't have to deal with it. Some of the design elements of this product are excellent. The blades themselves are very well made. They are good at scrubbing water off my shower door and walls. They are also removable, meaning mold can be easily removed from the handle. The problem with this product is that you have to be too precise when using it. I have to make sure you hold it right. I need to make sure it's pressed properly against the glass. I have to be careful to use it correctly. I've been using this scraper for several months, and when I realized I'd left it at my parents' house during winter break from college, I was relieved I didn't have to deal with it more than I was worried about water. stuck in my shower door. That feeling prompted me to change my rating from four stars to two - using this thing should feel like second nature in a few weeks, let alone a few months. Yes the product feels high quality, looks amazing on the shelf and does the job perfectly, but I would prefer to use something else.
