Perfect for this job. The front door had a fairly large gap (1/2 inch) between the bottom of the door and the sill. Small creatures such as insects, frogs and snakes invaded the house. Barrier against unwanted guests as well as energy efficiency gains due to air conditioning failure. The metal splint was easy to cut with a hacksaw. Fixing it to the door was also quick and easy with pre-installed holes and metal screws. All I had to do was drill holes in each preset and then install the rail with the screws provided. Ready in 15 minutes or less!
