We use dirt bike helmets. I used the 3M Dual Lock Recloable Fastener SJ3550 250 Black to secure the modules to the sides of the helmets. Clamps are well made but don't contour curves. 3M holds very well and still keeps it close to the helmet. They're easy to install, but be aware the speakers are a pretty good size and my helmet already fits snugly so I can feel them and I have to wiggle the helmet to get my ears in place , but after that I hardly feel them. They're easy to connect, and if you lose connection, they'll reconnect when they're in range. So what about range? The line of sight is quite far. About 75 to 100 meters. I had to stay fairly close on some sections of the trails we followed because some dense tree bushes shook but didn't quite cut the sound. I did notice that if they were disconnected for more than a few minutes we had to manually reconnect, but it's really easy. I have two friends who will be buying sets of 2 so we have six in a group and I can talk on more than a 2 way connection. All of these work fine, and they're pretty noisy.
