After I got the new grill the old one broke due to the weight of the old custom grill insert, the big gaps in the new standard grill didn't fix it so I decided to try that and it worked well. in 4 easy steps 1 just turn it back around the 5 gallon bucket to solidify it 2 cut and sand down any excess protrusions and what not with the dremel in the grill when i was done i had a nice flat surface 3 cut the mesh insert to the size and shape you need 4 tie it with thin, strong wire from the Walmart craft department and the finished look looks much better for a standard grill. Now the truck is a 97 gmc Sierra for reference. This was a fun easy project
