Not used yet but the straws look good and seem to be of good quality. The reason for the 4 stars is the amount of plastic used in the packaging. I bought metal straws for environmental reasons, so I was very disappointed to find that each straw was wrapped in plastic. The carrying case is also made of plastic material, which worries me less, but would be better if it was made of natural material.
