Friction material is at least a few millimeters thinner than any other brand I've used. I thought it was a coincidence when I last bought them, but this set arrived years later with the same thinner friction material. I really don't understand why on an ac delco branded product. They hold up well, but because of the thinner pads, they last about 10,000 miles less. I've ridden it a total of 26,000 miles and do a lot of city driving. The thinner pad makes it easier to fit new pads on the rotor, but for about the same price I'll go with Centric or Raybestos next time.
