Make sure this light is pointing to the right!

wow. This light is bright! Even on the lowest settings, it's more than enough for a bike headlight. I also have a standard 1600 lumen CREE XM-L T6 LED waterproof headlight on my helmet http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0098IJC7C/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. for me 0.5 hour drive through several suburbs and then 1 hour on a pitch black paved forest bike path. I use a helmet lamp outdoors in low light (there are street lamps). I save this light for the trail to no avail, but still end up using it on the bottom end. I don't really know how long it will last at low speed because I've only ridden it about 50 miles at a time. The 4-cell battery provides more than enough power for a 4-hour ride on a low charge. I've burned it before, but I'm not sure for how long. The battery is removable and spare parts are available. the attachment method is only a weak point because the rubber straps were not tight enough for the handlebars on my fuji nevada 29er. A simple solution is a piece of spare slotted cam, folded lengthwise (or widthwise? the way it naturally curls) on both sides and wrapped snugly around the bars. Buy it if you need an awfully bright light, and buy a spare battery if you want to use the high mode. Blitz mode is likely to cause accidents in motorists and seizures in people in their homes when you drive by.
