Review on πŸ”§ Flexible and Non-Slip Magnetic Soldering Workshop Tool by Paul Gravely

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Beautiful design with advantages and disadvantages

Great concept and a decent lighter copy of the US version. I love that it comes with extra alligator clips and vinyl clip covers. You can also opt for flat magnetic holders. The magnets are strong and I would never want that threaded version! Two stars deducted because the alligator clips at the ends of the flexible arms were almost paint welded! I'm a tough guy and couldn't get two of them to move without a serious wrench and scratching the adjusters - there's just no other way to unscrew them! Also, the manufacturer's label was just a piece of cheap sticky paper, so I removed it. Also, the corners were significantly rounded off by the guy with the sander - quite a far cry from what I would call a high-quality laser-cut base. And the paint is so-so. If I had to buy it again I would buy the US version from Quadhands for a few bucks more. The quality control of this item gives Chinese things a bad name.
