Comes with a battery holder and USB cable, which more advanced users probably won't need, and you can save a few bucks by buying the board separately. This is a fantastic tool for anyone wanting to learn the basics of programming and using devices like the Arduino. This pack has everything you need and there are so many resources on the web that you can use to do almost anything you want. I would recommend this to any inquisitive mind aged 11+, although a very advanced young learner may grasp the concepts at a much younger age. Once that's mastered, a whole world of more advanced coding projects is available, and it's a great way to teach kids, or even curious adults, how to code with a minimum of frustration.
