After I had a leaking 1 inch water pipe in my house which was equipped with a well and a submersible pump, I decided to add a "fail safe" layer of security. This is in addition to other tiers I have with a wireless connection through my router. I wanted to keep this level as simple as possible, no wifi, internet etc. I devised a solution where this unit is connected directly to a 240v relay in series with the pump switch. It works as it should with no issues with needing initialization after power on etc. The WS-1 appears to be made as a commercial product, better than many affordable home devices.
