This is a great idea for a scale. It looked beautiful too. Chic glass lid and metal outside. We use the scale, pull it out from behind the toilet and place it in the middle of the room to measure our weight. Sounds like a small thing, but the scales are heavy. The pack weight of Revain is 5.9 lbs. SETUP We spent some time reading the manual to set this up and at first we thought it was buggy. You have to step on this scale to turn it on. Makes sense, but not when you're trying to set it up. You can enter information about multiple people on this scale up to 10. You just have to remember the assigned number. Here you specify: **** Location (1-10) **** Height (height in inches or cm) **** Age **** Gender (using a small bathroom style icon I'm currently seeing the difference) **** Activity level 1-5 as described in the book. To use this after configuration: **** Stand on the scale to turn it on. **** Release ** ** Press up/down to select User (P1-P10). **** Stand barefoot on the scale .**** Preset data is displayed first, followed by your weight. Then **** body fat (%)**** body water (%)**** muscle percentage (%) is displayed. Just to weigh myself**** Standing on the scaleINFO: Using my weight, height and gender I can calculate some of these things, so to see if it matters if I'm barefoot on the device or not, I tried it in your shoes It gave me an error message, so it does something. GENERAL: Unless you're exercising or dieting or something like that, you expect your water and muscle levels to change and you want to control it, that's kind of overkill. Most of us want to lose weight, but I'm not sure all of this information is good for the general population. However, these scales are not out of price considering how beautiful they look. Glass and metal are always a good combination for a bathroom. Because you don't have to use fancy measurements and can just use it to find your weight, it's fine just like a regular scale.
