I have two bike racks and this is one of them. That's what you're paying for. Don't expect top quality but it does the job for a very low price. The square steel parts of the tube are powder coated but the holes on it aren't painted very well so it rusts almost immediately when it rains. The overall design is ok, but little things like sealing the drill holes are not well done. The rattling is noticeable when driving. The two square tubes meet, nothing prevents lateral movement, so the top of the trunk wobbles a little. One good thing to mention is the rack lock on the hitch. There is a nut on the end of the tube that fits into the coupler pocket and there is a coupler bolt to tighten it. And it also comes with an extra lock nut. Because the tube fits snugly against the receiver, the post is very securely attached to the hitch mount, eliminating much of the post sway. It's not stainless steel, so it will rust, but the design is very good. I don't expect it to last many seasons but if I can use 3-4 years at this price I think it's a good deal.
