This motion sensor works exactly how I wanted it to. This is the only one I could find that works with an app to send an alert to my phone instead of a device that needs to be connected. I have a very long country road and wanted to be warned when cars and vans were coming my way. The only thing I find a problem with is, as others have said, the distance is definitely not 40 feet, 30 is closer to accuracy. I set it up on a post 15 feet from the lane when I'm on the farthest side of the lane. it doesn't pick up my movement, nor does slow-moving small cars trigger it. Otherwise it's perfect for what I wanted. I also plan to add more devices to the hub once the smoke detectors are back in stock.
