The Dynablast is a lightweight running shoe that still offers plenty of support even on longer runs. I ran about 25 miles a week in these shoes, about 400 miles total, and I found them great for shorter speed runs due to their minimalist mesh upper. reduces weight and adapts well to the shape of the foot. I also think they're great for longer runs (10+ miles) as the thick and comfortable outsole cushions the impact of the foot even as the run builds up. I've run in a few other shoes from Asics and other brands and have found that many of them offer too much cushioning in the upper (especially around the ankle opening of the shoe). The problem with these designs is that when you sweat, the materials only absorb moisture and you end up with cinder blocks tied to your feet. This shoe dries quickly and even when it does retain moisture there is very little material left to weigh down your feet. However, some runners may find that this minimalist approach to the upper causes stability or comfort issues. If you need more comfort in the ankle or upper foot area, you may not find it in these shoes. super fast for quick work the next day --- and look GREAT doing it! --- then this shoe is just right for you!
