We had problems with the speech intelligibility of our television. Tried all settings. Nothing worked. Just received this. The voice quality is excellent. In response to two comments. The speaker must be charged or connected to a USB charger to function. Also found that TV volume and speaker volume work together. When the tv is on max volume the speaker is loud, I will buy another bedroom for my son so he can watch tv at night without disturbing others.
