Although I did a lot of research online for this purchase, the Savi 8220 is a newer product, so device-specific reviews have been scarce. First, the manual that came with the product (Plantronic Savi 8220) is for basic installation only. The complete manual must be downloaded from the Internet. Most controls for setting up the hardware are done through the appropriate app, which also needs to be downloaded online. To use your phone with a desk phone, you must have a desk phone with a corded handset. Not all desk phones are compatible with the device. Taking calls directly from the headset requires an additional matching "lift" and interface cable for just under $100. I joined the call on a number other than our landline.
