A neat tool for quickly cutting mortise and tenon for rough rustic construction. The inside of the tool is painted, and the first few cuts will leave red marks on the cut tenon. Make sure the blades are set to the correct depth and tightened. The Forster bit is packaged by a different OEM, so your bit may be different from the OEM brand I received. But it's good quality and cuts well. The assembly instructions are a spiral-shaped booklet that includes some cutting and measuring tips for using the tool properly, as well as plans for some pieces of furniture. I bought this brand which is slightly more expensive than the competition because it is made in the USA. So far, so good.
