These are easy to use connectors to replace existing connectors or in my case to create a drop cable. The product photos are a bit confusing. Are the plugs fastened with nuts or bolts? Answer: both. There is a threaded insert that is part of the plug body. This insert accepts stands or included thumbscrews; but does not allow the screws to rotate freely. This means that the connector can loosen a little when you connect it to the device, since you are essentially tightening two nuts - one in the connector body and one nut on the connected device. Unfortunately, unlike the product photos, the stands are not included, so you can't screw on these connectors without providing your own.
