As other reviewers have noted, the ladder wobbles a bit when fully extended. The top three tiers are not designed to support the weight as instructed. If you need to reach a height of 9 feet, you need to buy a 12 foot ladder. Other reviews also point out that you need to be EXTRA careful with your toes when descending steps. There is no gap between each step. There are green or red markers showing the locked or unlocked position of the crotch. However, you must be absolutely sure that each step is actually locked before using the ladder, as markings can easily change from green (locked) to red (unlocked). The weight of the ladder is light, around 18 pounds as stated in the product description.
