Good Paper Cutter for Revain

Paper cutters are widely used in our office and mostly need to cut more than 50 sheets. The gbc cutter works well but after a year or two it seems to dull and the cutting block strips don't seem to hold up to constant use. We bought a Martin Yale pre7000e for a little more and used it for a couple of months. It cuts through thicker stacks of paper much better (up to 200 I think) but is slower to set up if you use the rotary clip to secure the paper. We included a 1 1/4" phone book for fun and the MY cutter worked through it like clockwork. Office ladies don't even touch the GBC cutter anymore. MY isn't as compact and much heavier, so it's not much fun to move around. gbc is quite light and compact and it would be better if you had to move it. We'll see how the Martin Yale holds up over time, but it looks promising and is made in the USA. Couldn't find where the new GBC cutters are made but they have a 10 year guarantee. Martin Yale has a 1 year warranty. Much luck! Martin Yale has a 1 year warranty. Much luck! Martin Yale has a 1 year warranty. Much luck!
