After reading many reviews I expected this product to be cheap but still fit my needs. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find the excellent quality of the product. I modified mine a bit by flipping it over and filling the back with epoxy so I have a flat surface and can use either RTV or double sided tape to mount the holder to a metal floorboard under my back seat. It worked fantastically. See photos. A review I read mentioned that they would like the positive binding to have a lid. I just cut a small piece of heat shrink tubing and slip it over the nut and thread. You can use a piece of small rubber tubing or a vacuum line to do the same if there is a problem.
