I bought these to use with other skewers we already have (different brand). Of course they work fine. Nothing complicated here. However, it is worth noting how well made they are: and it really is very good! I was surprised. I was expecting cheap stainless steel stamped with a poor quality die set and bent to tight tolerances. It definitely wasn't! It appears to be high quality stainless steel that has been laser cut and then bent to a very precise tolerance. The edges are quite comfortable, not sharp or full of burrs as I expected. They come out of the box (er, out of the box) clean and are not covered in industrial grease. I hesitated to buy them because they are expensive but the quality was very high. It was a pleasant surprise these days.
