My S9+ with Otterbox was designed for medium to small phones but fits to the limit (without using additional device rubber bands). - No spring brace, it relies on an aluminum handle with twist lock system, it works but you better have strong fingers. - It has a lot of screws, I pre-applied a tread blocking chemical to prevent possible screw loosening or loss. Installed on my Yamaha T700. So far very satisfied.
